Brief
All About Greens approached us when looking for a team that are experienced in food video content. After winning a competitive pitch against two other companies, we were tasked with shooting, directing and editing 55x 10 minute masterclasses, plus marketing material for a new online vegan cooking course.
All About Greens wanted to demystify vegan cooking and educate the masses on how to live a perfectly healthy, sustainable and tasty vegan lifestyle. This course is aimed at chefs looking to up skill, home cooks wanting a healthier lifestyle and individuals interested in transitioning to a plant based diet.
(Who knew you could make a perfectly crafted quiche without eggs?!…)
Production
Filming took place in Cheadle (Manchester) across 7 straight days. From knife skills to homemade pasta, we captured over 6TB of data, with footage spanning across 3 cameras (wide angle, close detail and overhead).
We operated a two-man crew consisting of DOP (cameras / lighting and sound) and Director (creative direction and producing).
Communication and organisation was a large part of this production, working closely with the chefs, sous chefs, KP’s and makeup artist to ensure that we had a smooth ‘conveyor belt’ of ingredients , props and dishes flowing throughout each day. On average, we filmed 10 episodes per day (55 in total), along with a bank of marketing assets and teaser content.
Sound was recorded via wireless mic’s and a live playback feed was setup via 17” monitor for realtime viewing.

Post-production
The full course and marketing content was edited across a four week period by our in-house edited team. Each episode was cut down, graded to broadcast standard and sound mixed for use across All About Greens’ online platform.
Once the masterclass was completed, we then put together a series of marketing videos that were tailored for each social platform and various advertising specifications.
