Brief
We were brought in by specialist food photography agency, Piccallo, to fulfil the video requirements for Frankie & Benny’s Spring menu launch.
An efficient workflow was a priority with 9 new dishes to style and shoot, whilst considering framing for multiple output ratios (IGTV, web, display etc); all shot in one day.
Production
After mood-boarding concepts and actions, we had a short pre-production meeting to discuss the particulars and logistics of what we had to work with in the restaurant (lighting, cooking/prepping facilities etc).
On the day of the shoot, we utilised a collection of vinyl textures and laminate flooring to add depth and variety to our backgrounds, but in-keeping with the F&B brand.
Spill from the ambient restaurant lighting is always a challenge, so we used a range of (secret) techniques to gain more control over the environment and deliver that light Spring feel.
Output
Allowing Frankie & Benny’s to maximise the amount of video content from this shoot, we edited and delivered over 25 assets to be used in the new Spring campaign across organic & paid social, IGTV, web and display.
Our specialist skillset with foodie social content enabled us to art direct and shoot each shot with in a way that produced multiple options for each edit.
