Bushcraft essentials are an independent German camping accessory manufacturer and retailer.

Brief

Bushcraft approached us looking for something different...

We spit balled some ideas and decided rather than create a typical product demonstration video; we would integrate their products into more of an aspirational lifestyle film.

Being huge outdoor adventure enthusiasts ourselves we couldn’t wait to get stuck into the production.

Production

We first scoped out potential locations and talked about Cairngorms National Park, the Norwegian Fjords and the Lake District National Park, UK. We did extensive online research and decided that the Lake District offered the greatest variety of activities and backdrops.

We selected a number of models and got the okay from the client to cast Karl Fletcher and Fay Preene. Karl and Fay are both avid outdoor enthusiasts and were more than happy to get stuck in to every activity we threw at them.

We explored the caves, hiked the hills and kayaked across the waters to showcase the simple, easy to use products in various situations.

We delivered multiple assets including Instagram stories, behind the scenes edits and photographs to maximise the clients investment. Oh and we translated it all into German as well.
