Klein Imaging

Klein Imaging is a fine art, printing and framing studio based in the heart of Manchester.

Brief

DK from Klein Imaging wanted to tell the story of his business in a stylish, cinematic way. We pitched a mini documentary focusing on the artistry, patience and skill involved in framing and printing fine artwork.

Production

We followed the detailed process of hand making a custom frame for a piece of artwork from start to finish. We want to show the tools and craftsmanship needed for bespoke work. We captured everything in 50fps on our Sony FS7 to offer that dreamy slow motion feel. We then interviewed the head of Klein Imaging in a sound booth after the shoot which created the narrative for the film.
